As with the other networks, the cost of EE phone insurance will vary depending on the phone contract that you have with them. Generally, if your phone has a higher spec, then your insurance premium may reflect that within the cost. What can I claim for? Unlimited accidental damage claims. Maximum of 2 theft or loss claims per year starting from the policy inception date. Unlimited claims anytime, with no exceptions.
Does the policy include Worldwide cover? Worldwide cover for accidental damage, breakdown, theft and loss. Our worldwide cover goes with you, provided that this is in line with current government guidance.
Am I covered for unauthorised usage? No cover for unauthorised network charges when the insured phone is lost or stolen. Cover for unauthorised usage when the phone is lost or stolen up to the amount of £1000.

Don't forget to consider the excess fees applicable to each policy as well, when comparing. The excess fee is your contribution to the repair or replacement of your phone, which normally varies on the type of model you have.

What devices can I insure? Cover cannot be transferred to another phone. If you upgrade your mobile phone all cover under this insurance will end. All iPhone models, up to 36 moths old can be covered with us.
Who carries out the repairs? Repairs carried out by the manufacturer at Apple stores and Apple authorised repair centres. Use of Apple approved repair centres.

Insurance will only be terminated upon the policyholder’s instruction at any point during the lifetime of the policy or any ongoing claim.
