The randomness of life means your phone could get damaged at any time. If it does, we'll fix it or replace it. It'll need to be more than just cosmetic damage which won't be covered by your insurance.
Sometimes a phone develops a fault that stops it responding, no matter what you do. When you can’t make anything happen, it’s good to know you’re covered by people who can.
How to identify your Sony phone
Using the Support app version 4.0.18 or higher
- Find and tap Support .
- Make sure you are on the Main tab .
- Scroll down to Device info. The name and model number appear under Model.

- From your Home screen, tap the Application screen icon.
- Find and tap Support.
- Tap the Device info tab . The name and model number appear.
Find out your Sony Xperia's storage capacity
- From your phone's home screen, select Settings. You may need to swipe down or left to access the Settings icon.
- Select Storage.
- Your phone’s total memory size, and available storage space will be shown. Available capacity will be lower than the total memory because the Android operating system and other own apps and files (such as pictures, songs, etc) take up some of the memory.
